1. Scope
This Shipping Policy applies to business-to-business purchases made from EV4 Limited through the DSDevices® UK and EU websites.
This policy applies to business customers only and does not apply to consumer purchases.
This Shipping Policy should be read together with our Terms of Sale, Refund & Returns Policy, Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

3. Shipping Regions
EV4 Limited supplies Goods to business customers in the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other permitted international destinations, subject to order acceptance, product availability, export restrictions, carrier availability, and applicable laws.
Orders for delivery within the United States of America are not sold through the UK or EU websites. Customers seeking delivery within the United States should place orders through https://dsdevices.com/us or such other website, authorised distributor, reseller, or EV4 affiliate as we may designate from time to time.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or redirect any order that cannot be fulfilled through the relevant DSDevices® sales channel.
4. Fulfilment Locations
Orders may be fulfilled and dispatched from one of our authorised fulfilment centres depending on the delivery destination, product availability, and operational requirements.
Our current fulfilment arrangements include:
European Union orders: generally fulfilled from Boxtel, Netherlands.
United Kingdom orders: generally fulfilled from Surbiton, United Kingdom.
Other permitted international orders: generally fulfilled from the United Kingdom or another authorised fulfilment location selected by us.
We reserve the right to fulfil orders from alternative locations where operationally necessary.
5. Shipping Methods and Carriers
Deliveries will be arranged using a suitable carrier, courier, freight provider, or fulfilment service selected by EV4 Limited.
We aim to use the most appropriate, reliable, and cost-effective shipping option available for the order, taking into account the delivery destination, shipment size, shipment value, product type, service availability, delivery timeframe, and operational requirements.
For larger, bulk, palletised, reseller, distributor, or project-based orders, alternative carriers, freight forwarders, or shipping arrangements may be used.
Carrier selection is at our discretion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed during checkout where available.
For large, bulk, reseller, distributor, project-based, special-order, or non-standard shipments, shipping charges may be quoted separately or invoiced separately.
Shipping charges are exclusive of VAT, customs duties, import charges, local taxes, brokerage fees, handling fees, and similar charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Shipping Insurance
Shipping insurance is not included as standard unless expressly stated in writing.
Customers are responsible for requesting shipping insurance before an order is dispatched.
If shipping insurance is required, please contact us at info@dsdevices.com before placing your order or as soon as possible after placing your order. We will provide a quotation for the applicable insurance cost where available.
Shipping insurance may be subject to carrier availability, shipment value, destination, product type, and any terms, exclusions, or limits imposed by the carrier or insurer.
If shipping insurance is not requested and confirmed in writing before dispatch, the shipment will be sent without additional shipping insurance.
8. VAT, Taxes, Duties, and Import Charges
Prices displayed on our websites are exclusive of VAT, sales taxes, customs duties, import charges, and similar charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
Goods delivered within the United Kingdom may be supplied from our United Kingdom fulfilment operation and invoiced under UK VAT Number GB131428934.
Goods delivered within the European Union may be supplied from our Netherlands fulfilment operation and invoiced under EU VAT Registration NL828345053B01.
Business customers providing a valid VAT number may qualify for reverse-charge treatment or other VAT reliefs where permitted by law.
We reserve the right to verify VAT numbers and amend invoices where VAT treatment is found to be incorrect.
Import duties, local taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, clearance fees, and similar charges remain the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to recover VAT, penalties, interest, and related costs arising from incorrect information supplied by the customer.
9. Delivery Estimates
Delivery dates and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Goods will normally be delivered within thirty (30) calendar days of Order Confirmation unless otherwise agreed, stated during checkout, or specified in the Order Confirmation.
Delivery estimates may be affected by product availability, backorders, pre-orders, carrier delays, customs processing, public holidays, supply chain disruption, weather, incorrect delivery details, failed delivery attempts, or events outside our reasonable control.
EV4 Limited shall not be liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, supply chain interruptions, customer-side delays, or events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Backorders, Pre-Orders, and Split Shipments
Goods may be backordered, offered on a pre-order basis, or shipped separately where stock availability, fulfilment, or operational requirements make this necessary.
Where an order contains multiple Goods, we may dispatch items separately.
If part of an order is delayed, we may ship available Goods first and dispatch the remaining Goods when available, unless otherwise agreed.
Additional shipping charges may apply to split shipments where agreed with the customer or where required by the nature of the order.
11. Delivery Address and Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information provided to us is complete, accurate, and suitable for carrier delivery.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the Goods at the delivery address.
If delivery cannot be completed because no person is available to receive the Goods, the carrier may attempt redelivery, provide collection options, or return the Goods to us.
Additional charges arising from incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, refused deliveries, storage charges, redirection requests, or return-to-sender shipments may be charged to the customer.
12. Reseller and Channel Partner Shipments
Where Goods are purchased by a reseller, distributor, channel partner, systems integrator, or other intermediary for resale or supply to an end customer, the reseller or channel partner is responsible for its own shipping, delivery, fulfilment, and customer service arrangements with that end customer unless EV4 Limited has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
EV4 Limited is not responsible for delivery commitments, shipping charges, delivery delays, failed deliveries, customs charges, import issues, insurance arrangements, or other fulfilment obligations agreed directly between a reseller or channel partner and its end customer.
Resellers and channel partners are responsible for ensuring that Goods are handled, stored, packaged, labelled, shipped, and delivered in a safe, suitable, and lawful manner and in accordance with any applicable product documentation, export controls, customs requirements, and carrier requirements.
Resellers and channel partners must not make delivery promises, shipping guarantees, warranty commitments, return commitments, or service commitments on behalf of EV4 Limited unless expressly authorised by EV4 Limited in writing.
Where an end customer requires support, warranty assistance, or a return relating to Goods supplied by a reseller or channel partner, the reseller or channel partner will normally act as the first point of contact unless EV4 Limited agrees otherwise in writing. Any returns, RMAs, repairs, replacements, or warranty claims remain subject to EV4 Limited’s applicable Terms of Sale, Refund & Returns Policy, warranty terms, and any separate reseller, distributor, or partner agreement.
13. Risk and Ownership
Ownership of the Goods shall not pass to the customer until EV4 Limited has received payment in full.
Risk in the Goods shall pass in accordance with the Incoterms® 2020 rule specified on the Order Confirmation.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, shipments are supplied on a DAP (Delivered At Place) basis under Incoterms® 2020.
Under DAP, EV4 Limited is responsible for arranging delivery to the named destination, but the customer is responsible for import clearance, duties, taxes, customs charges, and related costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
14. Damaged Shipments
Customers must inspect Goods promptly upon delivery.
If Goods arrive damaged, the customer should notify us as soon as possible and, in any event, within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.
Damage reports should include:
Order Number;
delivery date;
tracking number, where available;
photographs of the outer packaging;
photographs of the damaged Goods;
details of the damage; and
any carrier delivery notes or damage reports.
Customers should retain all packaging materials until the claim has been reviewed.
Failure to report shipping damage promptly or failure to retain packaging may affect our ability to investigate the issue or make a carrier claim.
15. Lost or Delayed Shipments
If tracking information indicates that a shipment is significantly delayed, lost, or has not updated for an unusual period, customers should contact us at info@dsdevices.com with their Order Number and tracking details.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist with carrier investigations.
Carrier investigations may take time and are subject to the carrier’s own procedures.
Refunds, replacements, or credits for lost shipments will be handled in accordance with our Terms of Sale, this Shipping Policy, and any applicable carrier investigation outcome.
16. Refused Deliveries and Failed Delivery
If a customer refuses delivery without our prior written approval, or if delivery fails because of incorrect delivery information, customs non-payment, import refusal, lack of recipient availability, or failure to cooperate with the carrier, the customer may be responsible for:
return shipping costs;
carrier charges;
storage charges;
customs charges;
re-delivery fees;
administrative costs; and
any loss in value of the Goods.
Refunds for refused or failed deliveries are not automatic and remain subject to inspection, approval, and our applicable Terms of Sale and Refund & Returns Policy.
17. Export Compliance
Customers and resellers must comply with all applicable export control, sanctions, customs, and trade compliance laws.
We may refuse, suspend, or cancel any order where we reasonably believe fulfilment would breach applicable export control, sanctions, customs, or trade compliance laws.
The customer is solely responsible for obtaining any required import, export, or re-export authorisations unless otherwise agreed in writing.
18. Returns and RMAs
Shipping arrangements for returns, faulty Goods, warranty claims, and RMAs are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.
Customers must contact EV4 Limited before returning any Goods.
Returns must not be shipped to any EV4 Limited office, warehouse, fulfilment centre, 3PL, repair centre, or other location unless EV4 Limited has issued return instructions and, where required, a valid Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA).
Goods returned without authorisation may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.
19. Events Outside Our Control
We shall not be liable for shipping delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier disruption, customs delays, strikes, labour disputes, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government action, supply chain disruption, telecommunications failure, internet service failure, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Where such an event affects delivery, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the delay and will inform affected customers where reasonably possible.
