Q. Are the devices rooted? 

A. The DSDX5 is rooted. The DSDA1 is not rooted but has DSD Toolkit to enable system commands. 

Q. Do the devices support PoE? 

A. The DSDA1 and DSDX5 does not directly support PoE but by connecting an active isolated PoE splitter, this would enable PoE. 

Q. Do the devices support natively WPA2-Enterprise?  

A. The DSDA1 and DSDX5 are running Android 14 that natively supports WPA2-Enterprise networks. 

Q. Do the devices support CEC? 

A. Yes the DSDA1 and the DSDX5 both support CEC. 

Q. Do DSDevices support Real Time Clock (RTC)? 

A. Yes, the DSDA1 supports RTC. 

Q. If I buy a DSDevices, do I still need a Xibo for Android License? 

A. Yes, DSDevices are sold with a 14 day free trial license Xibo for Android Player. You can purchase licenses directly through Xibo Signage.

A. DSDSHow is our pre-installed digital signage software, self-hosted, on premise and free to use…for life!

Q. Where do DSDevices ship from? 

A. Our warehouse in the UK.

Q. Where are DSDevices manufactured? 

A. The DSDA1 is manufactured in Turkey and the DSDX5 is manufactured in China. All devices are designed in the UK.
